🌿 Step Into Nature Fundraising Raffle: Limited Tickets, Big Impact
Our raffle is all about celebrating the beauty of Prince Edward County — and protecting it. With only 200 tickets available at $25 each, this is a chance to support conservation while entering to win some truly unforgettable local experiences.
From a peaceful lakeside getaway at Little Ben to a curated County Wine Tour for Six, the prize list showcases the best of PEC. Nature lovers can join the Inaugural Walk with South Shore Footpath Volunteers, while art‑and‑nature fans will appreciate the SSJI Merchandise Bundle, featuring original South Shore flora artwork by Jan Swaren and endangered species designs by Dawn Ayer. Adventurers can drift along the Black River with a Cabin Fever kayak or canoe experience and lunch crafted by chef Jeremy Fletcher. Those in need of relaxation can enjoy a massage with Jennifer Bowman, RMT.

Get ready for a flutter‑filled celebration of Monarchs on the South Shore. This family‑friendly day invites visitors of all ages to explore the magic of Monarch butterflies through guided walks, hands‑on crafts, nature discovery, and playful outdoor activities.
SSJI volunteers and outdoor educator Cheryl Chapman will be on-site sharing their passion, while naturalists Joanne Dewey and Matthew Christie lead immersive walks through the Hudgin‑Rose Nature Reserve and Monarch Point.
Pack a lunch, wander the trails, and enjoy a peaceful break beneath the shade of the trees — it’s a perfect summer day for curious kids, nature lovers, and anyone who wants to experience the wonder of Monarchs.
