Artist: Aidan Haley
Completely intuitive, his work is described as “contemporary impressionism”. Aidan works mainly in oils and fluid acrylics. His paintings encompass a wide area of Canada mainly in Provincial and National Parks. He has travelled extensively in this country even to the Sub Arctic.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT: These paintings in Oil or Acrylic express my love of Canada and of the many areas that I have sketched or painted. I have always attempted to portray the magnificence of our country and can only wish I could have seen and painted more of it.
I’ve spent a lot of time “plein air” painting. I highly recommend it as it gives you a different perspective and heightens your powers of observation. You’ll also have a story to tell with each painting and you meet some really fine people. (https://www.aidanhaleyart.com/about.html)
