My paintings explore a personal journey through life, shaped by my love of architecture—both the structures we build and the forms found in nature. These influences inform my sense of space, rhythm, and composition.
Painting has been a lifelong passion. From early childhood sketches to a mature studio practice, I have continuously explored a wide range of styles and techniques.
Largely self-taught, I have sought out learning opportunities through numerous workshops with accomplished professional artists from Toronto, Prince Edward County, the Maritimes, and online. These experiences have expanded my technical skills and enriched my artistic voice.
Acrylic is my primary medium, valued for its versatility and immediacy, but experimentation is central to my practice. I often incorporate natural elements and mixed collage materials, allowing texture and process to play an active role in the final work.
