Announcement: Due to multiple factors, South Shore Joint Initiative has made the difficult decision to cancel plans for Pints & Polka: Oktoberfest 2025. As a result, we’re reimagining our Square Foot Art Show + Sale as a stand-alone event.

Prince Edward County’s South Shore is rare and fragile. Which is why we are deeply grateful to the talented artists who appreciate and support our advocacy, education and outreach work.

We look forward to announcing details of our first-ever Square Foot Art Show + Sale this fall.

In the meantime, we’re excited to announce a series of five FREE Astro Talks and Dark Sky events in partnership with the Royal Astronomical Society of Belleville and the County of Prince Edward Public Library which will kick off on Sept 13 and run through to Dec 13. 

This September, we hope to see you at Milford Fair on the 13^th and at the West Lake Community Environmental Symposium on the 27^th. Thank you for your ongoing support of our volunteer-led Canadian registered charity – it is deeply appreciated!
