South Shore Forest Bathing Walk
When: June 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Length: 1 km, 2.5 hrs
Where: Departs from Mariner’s Museum
Immerse yourself in the quiet beauty of the South Shore with a guided forest bathing experience. This gentle walk invites you to slow down, unplug, and reconnect with the natural world through mindful movement and sensory awareness.
Led by a certified forest bathing guide, this gentle, immersive experience focuses on being present rather than covering distance. Along the way, you’ll be offered simple invitations to engage your senses—listening to the wind through the trees, noticing textures and scents, and observing the subtle rhythms of the forest and shoreline.
No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to slow your pace and be open to the moment. This walk is ideal for those seeking calm, reflection, and a deeper connection with nature in a peaceful setting.
Please be aware that ticks may be present along the trail. We recommend long pants, socks and proper footwear, and insect repellent, along with a thorough tick check afterward.
This walk is by donation (pay what you can), with all contributions helping us care for the South Shore footpath.
