Wood Anemone John Lowry
Our June South Shore Stroll will be on Simpson Road. We will meet at the corner of Simpson and Army Reserve Roads at 9 am for a leisurely Stroll to the Lake. In June we will see some summer wild flowers beginning to bloom. There will be butterflies and breeding birds. We will take a short detour to the Ducks Unlimited wetland to check out shore birds and maybe turtles. As usual it is important to remember that there are ticks throughout the County. The road should be fairly dry, but do wear sturdy footwear. Bring water and a snack.
