Artist: Pauline Dinham

After a career in nursing, working in England, Zambia and Canada, Pauline Dinham moved from Toronto to Bloomfield in 2006. Dinham has been awarded three Honourable Mentions at Art in the County for her work in acrylics, encaustic and plexiglass. For the last five years, her passion has been working with natural fibres, wool and silk, both in Nuno felting and sculpture. Much of her felted work contains new and recycled silk incorporating the jewel-like colours of silk scarves and saris. In all her artwork colour and texture shine through. Now she has brought this to the wearable art that is her creative focus. More about the artist.
