It was a perfect day! 8 people met with SSJI volunteers for a walk on Nov 18th at the corner of Army Reserve Road and MNR Road. Everyone was well-prepared, wearing sturdy waterproof boots and ready to capture the beauty of PEC’s South Shore with cameras and binoculars. Unfortunately, a very large bag of beverage cans and other garbage was also picked up. The group enjoyed songs and sights of Chickadees, Blue Jays, Common Ravens, an American Crow and a few Long-tailed Ducks on the lake.
