This is your chance to explore the somewhat famous Gull Pond with members of the South Shore Joint Initiative.  Gull Pond was rich with aquatic foods for native peoples.  It was a fishing hub for the first European settlers.  Now it is popular with hunters, fishers, hikers and birders.  We should encounter many species of migrating Warblers and Thrushes, singing frogs and hopefully a Blanding's Turtle.  Wildflowers will be emerging and we will attempt to identify many of them.  This area is especially rich ecologically with marshes, meadows and wooded areas providing habitat for many species of plants, vertebrates, reptiles and amphibians.  Admission by donation.

Will you come?
