Karole Marois is a figurative painter based in Prince Edward County. A Fine Arts graduate of Ontario College of Art (now OCADU) and of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze in Italy, she has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally.

Karole is an ardent explorer of the compelling human-nature connection in her work. The innate emotional bond and attraction humans have towards water form the core of her latest series of waterscape paintings.

Her journey as an artist and a water enthusiast has eventually brought her to the shore of Lake Ontario. In this vast freshwater ocean that constantly shifts and transforms, she finds endless inspiration. A sailor, swimmer, and dedicated water lover, Karole feels a profound responsibility to honour and protect the vitality of these precious ecosystems.
