Artist: Karole Marois

“I am a Canadian figurative painter living on the shore of Lake Ontario in Prince Edward County. Combining my lifelong love of water with a passion for depicting the human form, my paintings focus on our profound relationship with water. I work with acrylics, often using transparency to express the notion of our interconnectedness with water”.

Karole Marois is a Fine Art graduate of Toronto’s OCAD and of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence Italy. Her work has been generously supported by the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts and has been exhibited and collected nationally and internationally.
