SSJI’s Wild Thing Education Program is hosting Owl themed activities during the PEC Family Day event at the Wellington District Community Centre. Everyone is invited to discover the owls of Prince Edward County. Examine specimens, make your own owl to take home, and explore hands on owl activities. It will be a hoot!

On Monday, February 16, 2026, the Recreation and Community Facilities Department will host a Family Day event at the Wellington District Community Centre - and new this year - the Prince Edward Community Centre in partnership with Prince Edward County International Association of Firefighters 2745, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The day will feature six hours of public skating, and a variety of activities designed to bring families together for fun, fitness, and connection.
