This event is offered by invitation to a free half-day tour of Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area. The Canadian Wildlife Service is providing funding to South Shore Joint Initiative to help us introduce this wonderful natural area to people who for reasons of lack of transportation would not normally be able to visit the Wildlife Area.
Registration for each tour is limited to six people. Registrants will be transported from Picton to the Wildlife Area by County Tasting Tours van, a licensed tour company. You will be met by outdoor educator Cheryl Chapman who will start by telling you about the Wildlife Area. There will be a gentle hike on well-prepared trails. You will learn about the special animals and plants of the Wildlife Area. There are washroom facilities. You are invited to bring your own snacks and water.
To take advantage of this unique opportunity please register below.
