South Shore Fest Brings Adventure in Nature, Music, Community Fun & Unique New Cards!
Stepping into nature benefits everyone. And that’s why South Shore Joint Initiative (SSJI) invites everyone to the first-ever South Shore Fest at Mariners Park Museum (2065 County Rd 13) in Milford on June 7th.
Make your mark on conservation with SSJI’s brand-new educational greeting cards! Available for $5 each or 5 for $20, these cards aren’t just a great way to share a message—they directly support SSJI’s vital work in protecting and preserving Prince Edward County's South Shore. Stop by the SSJI booth to get yours, and after the festival, find them at the Rossmore Pharmacy or online at SSJI.CA to keep the impact going!
South Shore Footpath volunteers have mapped out four scenic routes in Prince Edward County’s South Shore conserved and public lands. Anticipation for these guided nature walks is growing, especially for the new 10:15 am Family Walk. SSJI sincerely thanks a thoughtful donor who stepped forward to sponsor free parking at Little Bluff for all Family Walk participants.

About the South Shore Footpath and South Shore Joint Initiative: Inspired by the iconic Bruce Trail, a future South Shore Footpath will enable everyone to step into nature and explore the rare beauty of local public lands. A point-to-point walking trail from Point Petre to Point Traverse that will help to protect, conserve and restore fragile lands as well as promote everyone’s well-being is the group’s ultimate goal. The South Shore Footpath is a project of South Shore Joint Initiative.
South Shore Joint Initiative (SSJI) is a volunteer run, non-profit registered Canadian charity with a mission to educate and advocate for the protection, preservation and restoration of South Shore lands and waters in Prince Edward County, where together biodiversity and people thrive. See the incredible PEC South Shore on YouTube – and experience it for yourself on June 7, 2025!
