The first half of 2025 has been an exciting period for the SSJI iNaturalist project. With a growing community of contributors and an impressive array of new species observed, the project continues to thrive and expand its reach.
The number of contributors who submitted observations during this term reached 72, with 28 new contributors joining the project. This influx of new participants highlights the increasing interest and engagement in documenting biodiversity.

These dedicated individuals have significantly contributed to the project's success and growth.
Biodiversity Summary
The biodiversity observed during this term is remarkable. A total of 373 species were observed at research grade, with 27 new species added to the list. The overall project now boasts 1,949 research-grade species and 2,469 unverified species. The total number of observations for the project stands at 13,388 research-grade and 16,978 unverified.
