Everyone is invited to a Zoom webcast with South Shore Joint Initiative (SSJI).
While giving is making news, results are what matter most. This is why three SSJI leaders are excited to share the latest results of this local registered Canadian charity.
Since 2018, South Shore Joint Initiative’s volunteer-led non-profit has created the future of Prince Edward County’s rare and fragile South Shore. Their results are made possible by grants, individual donations and enthusiastic volunteers.
In this 20-min live interview on December 1st, Cheryl will speak with:
Cheryl Chapman, Wild Thing educator. Cheryl will recap on recent student educational experiences such as plein air painting, making tea with native plants and other grant-funded SSJI projects.
John Hirsch, SSJI past president & South Marysburgh councillor. John will talk about SSJI’s new 15-year lease with Nature Conservancy of Canada and work to create a South Shore Outdoor Education Centre in 2026.
Geoff Craig, South Shore Footpath lead. Geoff will share news about what 1,000+ hours of volunteer work has uncovered in public and conservation lands in the South Shore and how to get involved in the Footpath project.
