What is the benefit to humankind of seeing the night sky? How have our cities and industries prevented our view of the stars? Why do some people not even know about the stars? How can we address this unfortunate circumstance?

Through a short video and power point presentation Steve will tell us about International Night Sky Preserves and the possibility of establishing one on the South Shore.
