🌊THE MYSTERIOUS MARYSBURGH VORTEX
VORTEX: An Area of concentrated energy rising from the earth. Some believe that Vortexes (Vortices) are a portal for celestial and terrestrial Spirits.
Most people have heard of the Bermuda Triangle, that infamous stretch of ocean running from Bermuda to Puerto Rico and across to Florida. For generations it has captured the world’s imagination with tales of vanished ships, missing aircraft, and strange, unexplainable forces.
But closer to home—right here off the rugged shores of Prince Edward County—lies our own enigmatic counterpart: the Marysburgh Vortex.
For centuries, this patch of water has been whispered about by sailors, lighthouse keepers, and local families who know the lake’s moods all too well. The Vortex may not have the global fame of its southern cousin, but its reputation is every bit as chilling. Treacherous currents, sudden storms, inexplicable compass failures—many a seasoned mariner has met their fate here, and more than a few aircraft have disappeared without a trace.
To this day, most of the lost vessels and planes remain undiscovered, resting somewhere in the deep, dark waters off South Marysburgh. The stories endure, passed down through generations, each one adding another layer to the mystery. More information about the presenter...
