Overwhelming Success at Jazz, Wine and Art Event Raises over $5000 for South Shore Joint Initiative’s Conservation Mission

We are thrilled to announce the resounding success of our recent Jazz, Wine, and Art event. We are absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for the amazing time we had and the incredible support we received. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, supporters, sponsors, and the 200 participants who joined us, we raised over $5000 through donations, a silent auction, and a 50/50 draw!

The event was a true celebration of music, art, local wine, and food, all in support of our beloved South Shore conservation. Attendees were treated to the smooth jazz sounds of the renowned Brian Legere & Michael Monis Quartet, who performed as part of the PEC Jazz Festival.

We extend a special thank you to the following contributors for their generous share of their sales at the event Exultet Estates, Peg’s Patties and Black Cloud Bodega.

Our deepest appreciation goes to Dick Bird, who handcrafted the birdhouses and provided the perfect “canvas” for our creatives. We are in awe of the generous and talented artists and craftspeople in the County and beyond, who consistently support our work with enthusiasm.

Through the silent auction of the exquisite handmade NESTINGS bird boxes (https://www.ssji.ca/nestings_2024), our participants contributed to the funding of our advocacy and educational work for the rare, fragile, and beloved South Shore of Prince Edward County.

Together, we can continue to protect and preserve Prince Edward County’s South Shore. Thank you, once again, for your unwavering support and for making our event a memorable event.
