Judy Plomer
For over twenty years I’ve been on an artistic journey following my lifelong passion to paint. This wonderful world has opened doors to amazing artistic discoveries, wonderful friendships and, most importantly, taught me to never give up.
From the time I was a child the Canadian landscape has always beaconed me with it’s immeasurable beauty. Summers in the Kawarthas, Muskoka, The Thousand Islands and now Prince Edward County have always filled my heart with love and appreciation.
Whether it be painting plein air or in my studio the opportunity to use my imagination to create bright, bold, colourful textured landscapes fills my soul with peace. It literally takes me to another world when I open a tube of paint!
Although mostly self taught I’ve been fortunate enough to seek out and paint with incredibly talented artists over the years, travelling to beautiful provincial parks across Canada, attending unbelievable workshops in France and Spain and, of course, painting my beloved Prince Edward County. Every step along the way has brought me to where I am today, painting from my heart and hopefully bringing joy to my viewers eyes.
