Your one-time and/or monthly charitable donations help us advance our work to protect Prince Edward County’s South Shore Important Bird and Biodiversity Area (IBA) to maintain or increase the biodiversity of its terrestrial and marine ecosystems. Every donation of $25 or more automatically includes an individual 2024/25 South Shore Joint Initiative (SSJI) membership (or $40 family membership). We are a Canadian registered charity and will email your donation tax receipt within 5 business days.

Through advocacy, public education, supporting responsible usage and enabling scientific research, since 2018, we’ve proudly raised awareness about how the wellbeing of PEC's South Shore and the people who enjoy it are inextricably linked.
Our partners include organizations that support particular objectives and initiatives of South Shore Joint Initiative as part of the larger coalition to protect the South Shore IBA. Together, we're working to protect and preserve public lands in Canada’s last undeveloped Lake Ontario shoreline. We sincerely thank you for your support!
